First Day of School
Bryanna is in first grade now. I really can't believe she is that old. She could hardly wait for school to start this year. My little girl is going up before my eyes. She rides her bike to school everyday and loves riding home with her friends in the neighborhood. She is such a fun girl and comes home with some many fun things that they do. She really enjoys eating lunch at school and loves the playground. She has gotten really good at doing the monkey bars. She loves to climb. I really do have a monkey. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Penrod and Bryanna loves her. I love seeing all the fun things that she can do.
Parades
It is not a summer event if we don't go to a couple parades.
My kids really enjoy going to the parades. It is not a parade
unless we buy snaps . Bryanna and her dad love to throw them.
Parades remind me of my mom so much. When I am at a parade
I think of her. It is such a good memory to have. I wish she could be here
to enjoy the moment with us. Bryanna ask me all the time when are we going
to another parade. Here are some pictures of the Salem Day Parade.

Peter Pan Party
My daughter came home church one day and said my mom I am planning a party. I said that is fine dear. Well I didn't think much about it. Until my friend said that Bryanna had invited them over to a Peter Pan Party. Well then I ask Bryanna about it and we planned a Peter Pan Party for the next day. She had her friends come dressed up in costumes. We did lunch with chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese. Which is Bryanna's favorite lunch food. Then she played games outside with the kids like duck, duck goose, freeze tag and a bird game. We had cupcakes for a treat. It made Bryanna's day and I thought it was so cute. I am so glad that my friend played along with us. What a funny little girl.
4th of July Fun
This fourth of July we had a fun weekend of exciting parties. First we attended the baptism of my niece JoAnna. It was so fun to go too. My mom would have been so proud of that little girl. On days like this is when I miss her the most. Then we had a party at Jo's house. It is so fun to get all the cousins together. They are growing up so fast. We got all the three babies together which is the first time since little Kennedy was born. The funny thing is that all the three babies born this year start with the letter K. Then we had a picnic with Grandma and Grandpa. Bryanna got to play at the playground. Kyle got to get wood chips. Bryan got to go fishing and set off fireworks. It was a fun day. It is always fun to have the family together. It seems like life gets so busy that we don't get many of these days.

This summer has been a crazy one. I thought it would be slow and relaxing. It has been anything but slow. We have been to the zoo a couple times with cousins. It is fun to go and see all the animals and sometimes even act like animals. Our last trip to zoo Kyle was watching all the animals. His eyes got really big when the animal came close. Bryanna loves going so she can ride the rides and see all the different kinds of animals. She loves all the baby animals. I love walking around at least I am getting a good workout. This last time to the zoo it was so hot.
