Fall Activities

I really can't believe that it is October. Oh how Life seems to go by so fast. I love watching my wonderful kids grow up. I have to say that I wish I could slow them down. Bryanna has such a fun personality and she come home from school with some of the most interesting comments. Who says girls at a young age don't worry about how they look. Bryanna flew off the driveway while trying to ride the play lawn mower down the driveway. She cut her chin really good and the whole bottom part of her chin was black and blue. She cried and cried because she said she wouldn't be cute for school the next day. I finally calmed her down by telling her I would put make up on it before school. This helped her feel better. I just could not believe she was so worried especially since she is only 6. She is my buddy and I love doing things with her. She always makes me feel good about myself when I am having a bad day. Heavenly Father knew I needed my little girl to come down first, so she could help me with life.

Kyle is an amazing little boy. His smile and laugh just make smile every time. When I look in his eyes I can see that he wants to tell me things but he can't. I wish I knew what he knew I think life would be so much easier. The joys of having a baby in the house again. I love listening to him babble around the house. He follows me all around the house. The other day he figured out how to flush the toliet and that is his favorite spot to go now. At least it is the toliet and not the toliet paper. Bryanna is learning to put everything away unless she wants Kyle to attack it.

Right now we are getting things taken care of outside. We thought we didn't have any Zuchinni plants, but we found one and the vegetable is as big as Kyle.

Bryanna also just got done with soccer. She loved it and I even got to help coach her team. It was fun to see her learn a new talent.

Crawling

Kyle is now 9 months old. He started crawling about a month ago. Which means he is getting into everything now. His crawls is pretty funny with one leg up. He wants to stand up and walk, but hasn't figure that one out yet. Thanks goodness. He can take his time walking. He loves getting what he wants and finding treasures on the floor. Especially below the high chair where I have missed cleaning up after eating time. He also loves to chase his sister which is so funny to watch.

First Day of School

Bryanna is in first grade now. I really can't believe she is that old. She could hardly wait for school to start this year. My little girl is going up before my eyes. She rides her bike to school everyday and loves riding home with her friends in the neighborhood. She is such a fun girl and comes home with some many fun things that they do. She really enjoys eating lunch at school and loves the playground. She has gotten really good at doing the monkey bars. She loves to climb. I really do have a monkey. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Penrod and Bryanna loves her. I love seeing all the fun things that she can do.

Parades

It is not a summer event if we don't go to a couple parades.
My kids really enjoy going to the parades. It is not a parade
unless we buy snaps . Bryanna and her dad love to throw them.
Parades remind me of my mom so much. When I am at a parade
I think of her. It is such a good memory to have. I wish she could be here
to enjoy the moment with us. Bryanna ask me all the time when are we going
to another parade. Here are some pictures of the Salem Day Parade.
At the end of July we went camping and fishing as part of a family party. Bryanna and her cousing Zack caught the most fish. They were catching them right and left. It was so funny they would go fishing and come back with 6 fishes at a time. We ended up with 30 fishes between everyone when the weekend was done. It was fun to go camping and the kids had a great time. Kyle even liked it. That kid would live outdoors if he could. Bryan was in heaven he got to fish, camp and build camp fires. It is always so nice to be up in the mountains in it is so peaceful.

Peter Pan Party

My daughter came home church one day and said my mom I am planning a party. I said that is fine dear. Well I didn't think much about it. Until my friend said that Bryanna had invited them over to a Peter Pan Party. Well then I ask Bryanna about it and we planned a Peter Pan Party for the next day. She had her friends come dressed up in costumes. We did lunch with chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese. Which is Bryanna's favorite lunch food. Then she played games outside with the kids like duck, duck goose, freeze tag and a bird game. We had cupcakes for a treat. It made Bryanna's day and I thought it was so cute. I am so glad that my friend played along with us. What a funny little girl.
My daughter had her first friend sleepover. Danielle and Bryanna are the best of friends and they are always saying that they are twins in so many ways. They were planning this sleepover for a year. They had so much fun. I can't believe that my little girl and growing up. I am so grateful for great friends for my daughter. Thanks Heather for letting Danielle do this. Friends are so great!
